Going Deeper?

So you want to go "Deeper"- but do you know the cost? Going deeper is being all that Jesus saved us to be and it will cost us much,but it also cost Jesus his life to fulfill God's will. Going deeper means scaricfice  you will be called out from doing things your way,and really when you think about it that gets tough.For when Billy and Jean keep treating you the same old way then what? or you just left church 5 minutes ago and everybody else talking about Sally so.When you feel like doing wrong,but right keeps calling what do you choose? In order to please God we must choose right-right,but when we love doing wrong whew it gets tough.That old sin nature pulls us one way and the Holy Spirit is pulling us the right way,for after all gossip doesn't seem that bad at least when it's not about you. Going Deeper will expose us for who we really are for the Spirit of God is light,and when we start seeing ourselves as God does it causes us to be sensitive to needs of others instead of being critical. Seeing ourselves makes us cringe at the thought of the things we do and the way we act,but thank God for his Holy Spirit and the light he brings. The fire of the Spirit will burn hot but it's needed to draw us closer to God,helping us ever so gently and strongly when needed for this old nature is the enemy within us. But God is more than able to help us become all he has in mind for us,through his Holy Spirit working in us "Hallelujah".
Father draw us ever so close to you in Jesus name for we long to please you, going deeper is worth the cost and Father as the heat is poured on help us to remember you are in total control Amen.

Just Thinking

I'm thinking about how very "Awesome God is",I'm reading in Genesis and trying to visualize what's going on as God is calling stuff & things into existence. I mean when I think about God and all he's done and can do,it makes my head hurt lol,but a good headache.God said let the land sprout with vegetation,he didn't even have to call them one by one,like come on string bean or taters it's amazing!And let there be trees that grow seed bearing fruit,again no singling out,the trees knew which fruit to produce.In God's mind all of this was all ready formed, he just spoke and "bam" there it was! Mind blowing,mind blowing for real,thinking about how "Awesome God is" yet he loves little nut buckets like us.Then we know who else was watching all of these amazing things God was doing,satan,I bet his eyes were bugged almost out of his head!!! As God kept right on speaking this world into existence,wow the moon,sun,stars and all of the planets hanging on "Nothing"!!!! The water in the oceans and in the heavens,can't nothing move unless God says so,"What A Mighty God" we love and try our best to serve. We weren't there then, but the next "Great and Awesome thing God's going to do,we will not miss it,for Jesus is coming back,ready or not He is coming"!!!

Why do we "Worry??

I tell ya these days we're living in are tough! And as hard as we try to stay focused we don't. It's tough to see your loved ones and friends struggle,when there's nothing tangible we can do. I know that God loves us unconditionally,I mean I know that with all of my heart and that God will show up! But he has not-Yet! And the pain continues with my dear friends,the enemy those 2 good buddies fear & doubt are sticking around and pounding them down,way down. So I'm asking for your prayers for Linda & Elijah please they are hurting,and the strong should bear the burden of the weak. I'm praying and Praising God for change,and it will come,not as quick as we want it,but it will come. God's word is true no matter how I feel that does not change the effectiveness of our prayers or God's word. I appreciate you and thank you for your help.

In Spite Of...

This is a beautiful fall day kind of cloudy and this is my kind of weather for sure,but lately I have been having some bad bouts with arthritis & fibro.One causes pain in my joints and the other causes pain in my muscles,and this is not a good day for me.But I do feel like writing & crying all at one time,but in spite of all the pain and depression I still have lots of reasons to Praise God.Because I could be a lot worse,I think of all the young people I’ve seen in Nursing Homes and I know for sure how blessed I am. I worked for many years as a CNA taking care of the sick & the elderly and I truly loved it,I meet so many nice people and some were mean but that was okay,it was probably the pain or not being able to change their situation.I’ve learned like Paul to be content with whats going on in my life because I know what God loves me,and he will help.And God does help me so much it’s a battle to keep my mind on Jesus and off myself.The flesh loves a pity party but when the flesh is weak,God lifts up my spirit so that I can handle this. It’s such a wonderful blessing to know Jesus Christ and to know that he will never leave me,even when I’m feeling so low like today,for he understands my weaknesses and loves me right through them all! Whoa it seems as if I’m rambling here but it gives me such pleasure to encourage others,and if you’re facing something worse than what I’m going through hold on and don’t give up! For in spite of all we go through God will always send help to us one way or another,help will come. When I’m feeling like this I’ll think about the saints of old that God brought through and that gives me hope,like Job,Mordecai,Daniel and others. Oh yea and Habakkuk in chapter 3:17~19) one of my favorite scriptures: Even though the fig trees have no blossom,and there are no grapes on the vine;even though the olive crop fails,and the fields lie empty and barren;even though the flocks die in the fields,and the cattle barns are empty,YET WILL I REJOICE IN THE LORD! I WILL BE JOYFUL IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. THE SOVEREIGN LORD IS MY STRENGTH!

HALLELUJAH,HALLELUJAH GOD IS STILL WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!

What Now?

When you feel as if God has left you? What do you do? I'm so stressed and tired from helping dear friends who just lost their Mother,until I can't even think straight. Writing has always been an outlet for me,so I can just let my feelings out.I know that life has all kinds of trials daily and oh how we need God's help.But there are days like this when it's as if I can't hear from my Father,and I've learned to just be still.For God knows all and he is aware of all I'm going through and my feelings.My feelings has nothing to do with my love for God,and nothing to do with his love for me.Even though I know that's true this is a hard time for me now.I've also learned that in times like this is when satan is ready to attack with doubt & fear,he waited until Jesus was hungry to bring his attack in the wilderness,but God pulled him through and he has not left me "Hallelujah"! "Whew" how I praise God for touching me even now and encouraging me,yes Lord my soul says yes to you oh Lord. What would I do if God had not been on my side,but he is forever!!! Truly the Lord is my helper and my strength,yes be still and know that I am God.God is so awesome and his love for us never changes.If you're in a hard place I want to encourage you to be still and wait on God.

Comfort

When we suffer, let us remember that God will bring comfort to us through His Word by the Holy Spirit, and through fellow believers. God does not comfort us so that we’ll be comfortable we are comforted by God so that we might be comforters.(Marvin Williams)
What a wonderful quote and it's true our hardships and troubles that come are not to destroy us,even though we may feel that it is.God has a plan for our lives and he is leading & guiding us all of the way,we are made stronger through these different trials & tribulations not just for our comfort but to help and encourage others.God really did think of everything that we needed even before we were born! How "awesome our God is"
2 Corinthians 1:3,4 Just another reminder for me and all of my sister's & brother's that are going through tough times,God is making us over into the people he wants us to be and yes it hurts.But all of these things are working together for our good and yours.

When you've heard from Me

I do love and enjoy the old testament in my morning reading I was reminded,When you've heard from God don't even consider anything else! No matter who it comes from it's truly always best to "obey God". In 1 kings 13:1 The man of God heard from God and started out being obedient but was later persuaded to be disobedient,and he paid dearly.As I was reading this chapter I was wondering why did God allow this old prophet to do this,it seemed like a set up.But I was also reminded that God has a right to test us however and whenever he wants to,our job is to obey God and only God's voice and his leading us.It's amazing something that seems so simple as eating got this man of God into big trouble,that's why we need to be careful and obey God,even when it seems minor.

Just Thinking

As I was doing my bible study today I was reminded from my reading that obedience is better than sacrifice or heyyy you could get killed,no but seriously.I am so enjoying Jesus! But listen I was reading( 2 Samuel 6:14,21,22) You know about how David danced and praised God so hard and wild I mean he was getting down with his praise.So much that it embarrassed his wife David didn't care about that he was focused on God's goodness and mercy.I mean we shouldn't be ashamed of our praise and we don't have to try and act like someone else when we praise God.Okay I have been enjoying this message so much today for "Praising God" is a very good thing and David said I am willing to act like a fool in order to show my joy in the Lord Yes an I am willing to look even more foolish than this! I can only imagine the dancing David was doing before the Lord wow! I love the word of God for sure.

What Will It Take?

To believe in God until there is a change of heart? Just saying Jesus I believe want do it,you must be real with God,and acknowledge him for who he is. King Nebuchadnezzar said he believed,after all God showed him through Daniel.But his believing in God wasn't from his heart,it was only lip service.It does make a difference! Nebuchadnezzar knew from a first hand view the awesome power of God,and yet he refused to really believe in God.God has shown himself in so many,many different ways,yet you still refuse to acknowledge him as almighty God? what will it take to convince you,it took King Nebuchadnezzar a really "Big Fall",to bring him to his senses,to the point of eating grass like a cow,for many years!( Daniel 4:24) Then finally he realized that the God of heaven rules this whole world! Don't let your "pride" lead you to a endless & lonely place without God,but if that's what it takes,God will allow you to go there! In order for you to come into relationship with him,for God's love for you is "Great"!

Are You Tired....Why?

I've read quiet a few Blog post lately,and the main point is "Being Radical" for Jesus! But when I read a little farther I'm seeing self righteousness,whenever you start competing for this & that,it's not being Radical.When God called us through his Son Jesus Christ,it was to do his will,and his yoke is light.Competing and trying to do all of this & that, the right way(according to who?)is what makes you tired! God didn't call you to do what Sam or Sally does,he called you by your name Isaiah 43:1 and that makes you special.So why waste your time & talent trying to do what others do,making yourself a mess.Running all over the place because,well I've just got to do this because,if I don't it want get done! Yes it will! If we could just settle down and take a long look at why we do what we do? then we'll soon see,it's not what you're suppose to be doing,really. Jesus said my peace I give unto you: (the same peace I walked on earth in)not as the world gives;give I to you,so don't be troubled or afraid. John 14:27] Trying to be and do what others do causes a lot of stress!Fear & doubt causes bondage,and Jesus has set us free,so stop trying to do what others think or say is right and seek God.
To much confusion and not enough time being spent with God,that's not radical,it's silliness.May God give you wisdom and knowledge when spending time in his word,so that you will obey only him.Amen
